What Can Stand in the Way?
We learn from Philip a great way to share the story. When he meets the Ethiopian along the road, Philip begins where tha man's questions are and leads him toward Jesus. What can stand in our way of telling the story? What can stand in our way of responding to the story by being baptized and following him?

In Stephen we see a great example of the boldness and courage to keep telling the story of Jesus. Are we will to stand through adversity to keep telling the story?

They are currently helping in the aftermath of hurricanes in Texas and Florida, fires in the west and in other areas around the country. You can learn more about their work and find ways to help at

    Sharing Without Fear
Peter and John were arrested for talking about Jesus. They were given an ultimatum by the Sanhedrin to stop. Their response in Acts 4:20 was simple: "
As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." For Christians today, we have that same mission. If you were on trial for sharing about Jesus, would you be found guilty?

    Look at Us
In Acts 3, Peter heals a man at the gate of the temple. With the attention that follows, he and John use the opportunity to tell the crowd about Jesus. When people notice the lives we live and the way we love God, it gives us the opportunity to point people toward Him.

Our series on Genesis concludes with the reunion of Joseph and his family. From being the favorite son, to the bottom of a pit, to life as a slave, to prison and eventually to the palace of Pharaoh; Joseph's life is full of ups and downs. From the Pit to the Palace

    Joseph and Potiphar
    Series: Genesis
After escaping death only to be sold into slavery, Joseph ends up in Egypt in the house of Potiphar. Even as a slave, Joseph earns the respect of his owner. Unfortunately, that respect is short-lived due to false accusations. Through all the struggles, God is still with Joseph. That should remind us that God is faithful through good and bad.

    Joseph
    Series: Genesis
The last major character in our Genesis series is Joseph. His story takes about 1/4 of the book. This is the first of four lessons about his life. Joseph was his father's favorite child. That did not go over well with his brothers, but God uses their action against Joseph as one of the first steps to place Joseph where he needs to be.

    True Freedom
    Series: Genesis
The story of Abraham and Sarah is so much more than a story about an older couple having a baby. It is a story that shows what happens when people finally follow God's path instead of their own. Walking with God is not a series of limitations. Walking with God allows us to find true freedom.
