The Reunion
Our series on Genesis concludes with the reunion of Joseph and his family. From being the favorite son, to the bottom of a pit, to life as a slave, to prison and eventually to the palace of Pharaoh; Joseph's life is full of ups and downs. Through all of them, "God was with Joseph." His story is a reminder of God's faithfulness. Our stories can be too.

From the Pit to the PalaceAfter continuing to do the right thing, Joseph finds himself in prison. Even there he is given responsibility because of his good character. This incredibly difficult path will lead him through God's power to being second to only Pharoah in Egypt. God can still work in our struggles in ways that we cannot even imagine.

Joseph and PotipharAfter escaping death only to be sold into slavery, Joseph ends up in Egypt in the house of Potiphar. Even as a slave, Joseph earns the respect of his owner. Unfortunately, that respect is short-lived due to false accusations. Through all the struggles, God is still with Joseph. That should remind us that God is faithful through good and bad.

That did not go over well with his brothers, but God uses their action against Joseph as one of the first steps to place Joseph where he needs to be.
